Job description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Supply Chain Manager to be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy and in order to maximize efficiency and productivity.  The position will be based in our New York, US office.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage logistic, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
• Direct, optimize and coordinate the full order cycle by measuring the Delivery in full and on time (DIFOT) analysis.
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels delivery times, transportation cost and efficiency.
• Increase the efficiency of warehouse, goods, plan routes and process shipments by measuring the inventory turnover, aging/slow moving stock.
• Resolve any arising problem and complaints relates and respond back to customer professionally.
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess the performance and implement improvement.
• Comply with laws, regulation for the region or country.
• Supervise, coach and train the logistic and warehouse workforce.
• Manage the selection of South American supplier of cocoa beans and engagement process including the management of internal stakeholders throughout the strategic sourcing process.
• Build Cost saving opportunities to the companies by building strategic supplier relationships, establish better services and demonstrate leadership.

Requirements: Requires Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations or related field of study, and 3 years of experience in any job title/occupation/position involving Supply chain management related to Cocoa Industry. Experience specified must include 3 years of experience with each of the following: logistics and planning; delivery of cocoa beans and products;  working with the FCC and CMAA contract rules; Strategic sourcing from cocoa bean origin countries and supplier diversity; inventory management of commodities and deliveries to the Terminal Market; Commodities ERP systems; contract management and contract negotiation; freight markets and rate negotiation with shipping liners; and MS Office Tools including word, excel, power point, outlook. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week. Requires up to 20% domestic and international travel.
