Job description

We are looking for a Procurement Executive (Trading) to manage expenditure to ensure the service quality and also the timely delivery of all raw materials at an optimum balance between cost and quality. He/She will also assure Company’s procedures is adhering to international standards at all times.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all entities new vendor assessment by creating the assessment tools and closely follow up when necessary.
  • Manage outsource supplier questionnaire by monitoring the submission timeline and closely follow up.
  • Ensure the completion of the yearly assessment for existing vendors.
  • Generate the Material Approval sheet, request and update valid document for the product.
  • Issue purchase contract and liaise with the vendors for sales contract matters if there is any.
  • Liaise with supplier on the sustainability certification renewal to ensure the validity.
  • Update sustainability code in the Purchase Order.
  • Generate and provide weight and quality report, fumigation and defect report to supplier.
  • Prepare claim summary and handle bean quality claim with supplier (AP aging).
  • Prepare weekly purchase summary to ensure the data is up to date.
  • Prepare total purchase summary and statistic record for purchaser’s review.
  • Verify commodity invoice.
  • Analyse and prepare payment forecast for finance department advance planning.
  • Involve and support the sustainability traceability program.
  • Regularly review the Trading department SOP to ensure the procedure is updated.
  • Involve in the audits which related to trading department, included but not limited to customer audit, internal and external audit and sustainability audit.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year working experience in related field is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Customer service orientated.
  • Problem solving using data and analytical skills
  • Advance in Microsoft Excel is an added advantage.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in PTP, Gelang Patah.
