In year 2002, JB Cocoa commenced the construction of our cocoa processing plant in the Port of Tanjung Pelepas (“PTP”), State of Johor, at the southern tip of Peninsular Malaysia. We commissioned the plant and commenced production, sales and export of cocoa ingredients, namely cocoa liquor, cocoa butter, cocoa cake and cocoa powder in the following year.

Presently, our plant is operating at an annual production capacity of 60,000 tonnes of cocoa bean equivalent. It is operated in compliance with the world-renowned quality and food safety standards, namely ISO9001:2008 and HACCP. In addition to the stringent quality control system, we have also established over the years a comprehensive analytical laboratory to provide our customers product technical application support. Strategically located within PTP, the fastest growing port in South-East-Asia, we are able to import cocoa bean of various origins from different source countries and provide our customer with efficient delivery services.
